✦ AI summary

Relic Guardian - Tower Defense is praised by players for its stylish presentation, engaging and chaotic gameplay with solid strategic depth, and well-designed variety of levels and enemies that feel memorable. However, players point out frustrating issues like the inability to target specific enemy types, absurdly powerful enemies that can feel unfair, and accessibility problems including small text and icons that are hard to read. Most players who enjoy tower defense games find it worth playing, though some feel the difficulty is punishing enough to detract from the fun.

Compared to other Tower Defense games, Relic Guardian feels much more chaotic, with a far greater degree of player involvement. It's a ton of hectic fun at times to try and keep up with it all, yet there's a decent layer of strategy as well, as expected of this genre. The difficulty of Hard Mode feels perfectly tuned for the most part— challenging, but doesn't feel unfair at all, with the exception of a couple ridiculous levels where I had to switch to Normal. The game's worst flaw is that some of the enemies are just absurdly powerful, to the point where you would want to focus all of your firepower on them... except there's no option to "Target Strong" like in Bloons Tower Defense; rather, your towers will always target the furthest forward enemy no matter what. This leads to a lot of moments where your melee army gets completely rolled over by an enemy with 15,000 health, while you scramble to mount some kind of scuffed defense to deal with it. The different heroes you can choose from (or "Pani" as they are known in this game) are all fun and add variety to how you approach a level. That being said, they are pretty unbalanced and vary wildly in strength, with the strongest on…

A Highly Stylish Tower Defense game, if you've played any of the Kingdom Rush games this one shares many similarities, however what this game does well is it's full of a lot more charm & changes to the formula that makes it worth playing, it doesn't overstay it's welcome and every map has something unique & memorable about it, i hope to see more from this developer in the future!

this game is so hard it's stressful and not fun. they made it almost impossible to win. also everything is so small you can barely see it, and there's no option to increase the size of text/icons

Great game! Enjoyed the variety of all of creative levels and enemy types. World 3 and 5 being my personal favorites! c:
