Corporate greed. RIP this game. "Free in multiplayer" isn't the point. We were told there would be 3 factions. I paid for a game expecting 3 factions, not 2 factions with the third one turned into paid DLC. I don't care if the Veti are free in multiplayer. That's not what was promised. I want what was originally said: 3 factions included in the game I paid for. Turning the third faction's campaign into a $20 DLC feels like I'm being asked to pay again for something I already expected to be part of the complete game. Hide that version number. It is somehow really annoying.
Its a reasonably fun RTS game. Though i do wish it was bigger, it feels quite a bit like command and conquer though has its own spin on some things. Overall recommended.
So I played a couple hours in tempest rising and i must say that it is the best rts i've played since starcraft 2. This game has everything: mechanical and tactical depth, awesome graphic, really enjoyable story missions and now they finally added the Veti faction and everything just clicks together and its just so much better. Definitely a must play game (maybe it finally dethrones the king who knows)
For those who grew up playing Command and Conquer imagine this game as its spiritual successor!
