First and foremost why is this better than GTA.? Because its mostly nothing over the top. Game feels like real mafia score settling and businesses. Characters, city, music all make up for a great 30s crime world experience. Mafia is a pretty alright TPS. With variety of guns and cool levels to shoot bandits around. It gets really hard on few missions like hotel or church but once you get the enemy placement and stay patient youll get through them. Of course Mafia is clunky but along with few bugs it makes for a fun experience despite the flaws. The good kind of jank I'd say. I had little bugs here and there like looping shouts "Ill' kill you you bastard!" or citizens spazzing out and running scared when nothing was happening. I would sum it up as the fun glitches - that made me laugh and never broke the game or got annoying. Only bad side is that game has few moments where you have to do chores or run back and forth a few times which gets boring fast.

This is the worst best game i have ever played. the driving in this game is the best feeling out of any other game i have played. the cars feel great to drive and they feel heavy and realistic. this is easily the best part of the game as well as the only good part of it (the graphics are very good for the time and the story is great but thats it). this game has the worst gunplay put of any game i have ever played in my entire life. its borderline unplayable. you dont get alot of ammo, its difficult to aim, enemies deal insane amounts of damage and will camp behind corners and walls and will kill you instantly. people have told me that the gunplay is "realistic" because the character wasnt a soldier and wouldn't have had any gun-skills, which is a really stupid excuse for the fact that the gunplay was a complete afterthought in favour of the driving. enemies are extremely tanky and will absorb multiple shots to centre mass (very realistic). the only real method to actually beat most of the shootout missions is to stand extremely far away and shot at the enemies with a pistol (very realistic). the voice acting is also incredibly awkward, the characters speak in weird flat tones and i…
