I got the deluxe version of the game when the entire saints row series was on sale so I got this game for essentially free or a couple bucks but even that was too much money spent on this game. The only way to heal is a melee finisher and there are around 10 animations for a lethal finisher and about 6 or 7 non lethal finishers for when in a LARP mission or holding a LARP weapon. So I was able to know the animation that was going to play just based on where the camera snapped to everytime my health got low. I played every mission I could and every side quest and every threat I could on the map. The game is so broken and buggy that I would need a whole page to write out all the horrible game breaking glitches I encountered. THE WORST OF THEM: In the final mission of the LARP quest line there are buggies that you can jump in but can't jump out of. In the same mission the weapon you get stopped me from shooting any weapons when I reset the mission. (after getting stuck in the buggy.) I am unable to play the missions to progress the main story line because they are blocked behind "place one more venture" even though I have placed all the ventures and completed all the quests and …

Now, I am a saints row lover. I got most of the games. I think this game is good. It's a good game, about four people trying to create a gang. Is it saint's row though? No. No. It's not a saints row game, once you push that out of your head, you will enjoy. I'm not going to lie and say I wasn't disappointed when it came out. Everything that made saints row, was gone. The city, the vibes, the riches, the comedy. Felt poor in this game. I didn't NOT like the town or whatever you call it. I hated it so much, for ruin the vibe of saints row. But if you think of it as a cheap knock off of GTA. You might like it. I do. Also don't. Because the controls are clunky. But I can deal with it.
