Slasher's Keep

Clunky as hell and lacks polish. No pause menu. Can't use gaming mouse's buttons as keybinds. Hard to judge enemy's reach.

TLDR: It's getting a Negative, because this game should still be in Early Access. And since release was 6 years ago, well... you get it. Positives: 1. The art style is lovely. It's what sold me on playing it. 2. Maneuvering enemies into spikes and traps is fun. Negatives: 1. The game itself is lacking polish and "completeness". 2. "Precise Parrying" is imprecise and overall combat isn't rewarding. Especially when the reach of enemies doesn't translate well. 3. RNG can leave you ridiculously hindered. 4. No Pause is weird in any offline game.

This game is good, but bare in mind it is HARD. this game touches on you in special ways you wouldn't find yourself liking, one of these is parkour sections with the games sort of clunky movement

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but the game is fine in the first stage, but after you defeat the first boss and move to the next levels, the difficulty suddenly skyrockets and I always just die, even if I'm well leveled and have okay gear. I will give it a try later on, but for now it's a thumbs down from me.

I simply cannot understand how this game is not more widely known, its incredible. the combat is fun, the crafting works well, and the potion system is far deeper then you would expect. I also loved the skill system which is unlike any other game I've played. My only issue is that i wish i could expand my inventory, and that i wish there was even more of this already surprisingly big game.

Good god this game is punishing, I got all the achievements. Highly recommend checking out alchemy for the infernal dungeon, it will become a cakewalk after that..
