Time Carnage is awful. * One level and two weapon types to start with; unlockable levels and weapon types * Simple wave mechanic - Mouse control is plain awful - Gunplay feels barebone - Menu uses mouse, but menu navigation only allows keyboard input - Some menu buttons require holding mouse button quite long to activate - Confusing reload mechanic (drop your alternate weapon and it automatically reloads, with a sound queue presumably indicating successful reload; yet swapping back still didn't always had them reloaded) Mouse control is plain awful. I reduced sensitivity from 1 to the lowest possible 0.5, then used my mouse driver to reduce sensitivity twice (which I never do otherwise). Then it aiming seemed doable - but the sensitivity significantly changes during shooting - from workable to extremely muddy/slow.

Just about as fun of an arcade shooter as you could hope for. Good graphics, fun atmospheres. Lots of fun perks.

The central gameplay mechanic revolves around constant movement and aggressive weapon management. Instead of traditional reload systems slowing down combat, Time Carnage encourages players to drop depleted weapons and switch to fresh ones in rapid succession. This creates a unique rhythm where staying mobile and cycling through an arsenal becomes as important as aiming accurately. The result is a combat style that feels chaotic but deliberate, rewarding players who adapt quickly and maintain situational awareness as waves intensify. The arsenal is diverse, featuring over two dozen we…
