100 hours in and I still haven't finished the main story. It has been worth the time sink so far. There are definately some things that can make the game a slow grind, mainly with having to wait for blueprints or machines but overall things have been pretty smooth. I will say, it can buffer for long periods of time or fully freeze, especially if you play for more than 2 hours at a time.

This game is far more western, about 'the west's' way of thinking and being, than any game by a major studio in the last 5-10 years. It's a pity that we don't see more games like this. you build up your own home, learn about people in the town, socialize with them - and they do all come across as people, even if a few are ... ahem, odd, they are still relatable. Unlike games from big studios, the people here act and hear as people, not as plot motivator levers, or animated McGuffins. There are even lessons learned, and times where there are no right or wrong answers.

I love tjis cozy post-apocalyptic game about building, farming, making friends and restoring a community.

Has become one of my all-time favorite games. It is so charming and the world feels genuine and interesting.

I played My Time at Portia first, and LOVED it! When I saw this one on sale, I bought it. I want to say immediately, but I'm cheap, so my roommate had to talk me into it... I've only played three days in Sandrock so far, but I love the game. You defintely have to be more strategic with your resources in this one, than the last one, but I'm figuring it out. I'm hoping I can go for the same strategy and just date everyone in town, though...

An extremely fun but time-consuming game. Whilst there are still bugs after full release, I'd still recommend playing it.
