this is the third time i've bought this stupid game

This is an odd game because it's structured like a roguelike while removing all of the common elements that make those games challenging (permadeath, lose items after dying, random effects, etc). That's not to say it's bad, it's actually quite good, but the depth of "Brave Dungeon" exists more in the overall structure of how it's designed than any particularly challenging or competitive game design features. Well, there are two games on here, but Brave Dungeon makes up 90% of the actual gameplay. Dark Witch's story combat is like a Pokemon auto battler that recycles graphics from Brave Dungeon. It's not bad but it's kind of shallow and pointless, as the game never requires you to learn the mechanics instead of just grinding to win. As far as Brave Dungeon goes, the game itself is more of a "check the box" type system. This is also a game where you can grind to win, but the process of figuring out how to do so can take quite a bit of work. You must first assemble your party of anime girls. At first it's really hard to succeed and it seems like your party build matters, but later on you realize it doesn't matter that much at all. This is because if you find certain enemies on certa…

Terrible, waste of time and money. it keeps crashing on start up and even if you do get into the game, it won't last long. it says game not responding and you can't even press start as it crashes and freezes the game so i can't equip any items. Even the sound setting crashes. Avoid this junk, just play it on the Switch. I Owned this game on the 3DS And the Switch and had no problems. Ashame really because i wanted to play through this game again. They need to port this game to The PS5 And Xbox consoles. Sigh* Avoid and don't waste your money.

For a dungeon crawl with turn-based combat, it's basic, but it's snappy in the way you can zip through dialogs and combat, making gameplay feel satisfying. It's not punishing, and it's plenty cute. I haven't given it too much time yet, but but I aim to finish a playthrough sooner or later.
