Interesting spin on the Doom formula, but unfortunately it suffers from the same problem I have with a lot of ultra-low-res games, which is that most of the game looks visually the same and it's pretty hard to read anything. Any given location in an area looks more or less the same as all of the other locations in that area. There's not a lot to visually distinguish one area from another. It might not be that much of a problem if the game happened slower, but it's a fast-paced Doom-like, and being able to read where you are and what you need to do is critically important.

Amazing premise. Amazing atmosphere and music. FUN.GAME. Like some have already mentioned before... PLEASE... for the love of all that is good and holy... implement either a checkpoint and/or a save system. PLEASE. Anyways, really great game, Pixel Barons!

It is a very old-style FPS in graphics and gameplay. Good art and excellent metal soundtrack. However, be prepared that the game is extremely hard, even with assist modes on.

This is a execellant take on this famous icon in history, i love the crunchy pixel graphics and the gameplay is very tight and shooting feels flawless. very fun to zoom about with speed hurling rocks at peoples faces. this is a really awesome little throwback to doom wads of the era. Fantastic visuals, sounds and action. 9/10 BUY IT!!!!!
