A Fisherman's Tale 2

Another great VR game. This is is longer than the first one, but does change up the gameplay a lot compared to the first game. It still utilizes VR well though, and the same level of quality in visuals, music and audio is present here. Controls for moving your detached hands are a bit awkward though, at least on Valve Index, where you gotta hold trigger and move the thumbstick while NOT holding the grip button, which is the whole controller handle on Index.

Some games really use VR as a different medium. Not just a transformation of flat screen to 3D but proper inventive use of VR. This is one of them. Cute tale, great voice overs, interesting and funny puzzles. Not always obvious with how/where/what in the puzzles, but it's quite good. My only gripe is lack of save points, and no way to skip dialogue (if you've heard it before, or just want to press on with the puzzles).

Very fun and unique

I would like to recommend the game. Its a cool little experience when it works properly. However for whatever reason it is constantly breaking for me. I then need to completely close the game and restart at the nearest save point. Which will not always fix the issue for me. I might try to beat it still but its getting tedious. Well I beat it. But it was frustrating to do so had to restart levels at least 6 times to finish. If the game wasn't so bug ridden I think it would be great. With the bugs it turns into a slog.

Pretty simple game where you fire your hands off to grab stuff in a 3D VR space. I liked the hamhanded metaphors, and the OST. There is a glitch that happens in this where pausing sometimes stops the sound from playing - gotta close and reset to continue. Otherwise, pretty short and sweet. Did not play Fisherman's Tale 1 but this is a good standalone experience.
