its good but THERES SOME STUPID ♥♥♥♥ IN HERE. like if your in a checkmate you have to move again, its very easy to cheat out AND ALSO WHY NOT JUST INSTANTLY KILL YOU?? then theres the protect stuff, if you shoot something with something that can kill you it doesnt warn you?? either GET RID OF IT OR MAKE IT WARN WHEN YOU SHOOT SOMETHING! NEXT ABOUT IT, WHEN YOU ARE ABOUT TO KILL A KING AND WHEN YOU ARE IN CHECK IT WARNS YOU EVEN WHEN YOUR STABBING THE KING!! also the gernade, i dont know why BUT IT BOUNCES AROUND AND ITS A FEATURE INSTEAD OF GOING JUST ON A TILE THAT YOU PICKED WHYYY

Love chess, puzzles, and silly games so this is the perfect game for me. recommend it.

I rate this game very favourably, it has great re-play value & is amazingly simplistic yet makes you feel sophisticated the same way playing Conventional Chess is. [Worth it's full price, but check it's Release Date Anniversary for sale prices!] I was drawn to this game because of it's low computer specifications requirement, so I bought it to play on my cheap laptop while I travel & go offline. I've been pleasantly surprised how fun & simple this game is, putting a fun spin on actual chess, I've spent several hours offline just blasting my way through armies of chess pieces in a imagined villain arc. Although the soundtrack gets repetitive, since it's essentially the same track played in different tones & speeds, the gameplay is easy to enjoy on repeat. With the main game mode offering different levels of challenge & variety, whilst the smaller gamemodes offer a different pace & objective. And if you like achievements, well this game has plenty for you to hunt & chase down. Shotgun King: The Final Checkmate, was designed with care & love, and you can feel that endearment through the countless micro-mechanics in the game, with buffs & debuffs being well thought out. it's very strange that such a well-designed game also has some of the worst-designed achievements i've ever come across. specifically the dozens of achievements that require you to win with specific trios of cards. GRIM. great game through.
