🧊❄️ LOST PLANET 3 IS A ICE-COLD BUGGY MESS OF A TITLE THAT AGED WELL REVIEWED ON: (GeForce GT 1030/i7-3770 ) This is a prequel to the events of Lost Planet 2 and the first game, pretty much explains how it all begins. Lost Planet 1 is available on Steam, but the second game got taken down. Read a lot of negative reviews and can relate, this game is very different from the first two. And while it's true combat is not the best although in a third-person Dead Space 3 shooter perspective, backtracking is frustrating, and your movement throughout the campaign feels so weak. I can confirm this is because during LP 1 and 2, everything about the world, it's people, and surroundings have evolved over time. Even so, CAPCOM did change a lot of a lot so we can't really base ourselves much from the story. It's one of those errors devs pull from the hat casually, and the magic is just negativity from the community. THAT was a rollercoaster. So first, the good. The game has great atmosphere. The snowy storms, the heavy winds, the abandoned bases overran by Akrid. It was easy to immerse and feel the chill on my shoulders. The on-foot combat was partly cover-based, but overally didn't feel as cumbersome as classic cover shooters. Weaponry variety is nice. Story is fine enough. Graphics are fine. But who in their right mind decided it's a good idea to fight dangerous enemies... on a hostile planet... in an enormous, defenseless, slow mecha made out of crêpe paper that dies as soon as something sneezes in its direction? Every single encounter pretty much requires you to leave your machine and fight on foot. Which would be bearable... if not for gameplay segments where you are *forbidden* from leaving the mecha, so you can only helplessly swing your powerless arms in general direction of Akrid swarms, just as if you tried to kill the fly that's flying in front of your nose, but which succeeds in escaping you. Then you die from two stings and reload... just to watch that intro cutscene for the third time, because the checkpoints have been placed in the most useless spots possible. And finally, I'…

The game is very very mid, honestly no wonder this game killed the franchise, first 8 hours is just go here kill crabs repeat, to make it even worst a boss that you need to kill to progress is apparently completely bugged out and is now immortal locking me out (yes even reloading last save checkpoint doesnt help at all) of progressing the campaing, literally unplayable, DO NOT BUY THIS TRASH EVEN IF IT IS ON SALE.

The game is bugged at the crab's rematch section. The crab akrid is invincible and cannot die. Preventing me from progressing the game. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!!!

not surprised only 22% played it long enough to reach chapter 2 the mysteeerious base reveal. its a bland arcade shooter whose horrible gameplay and enemy design overshadows the ookaay story and okay world design. the characters are all walking annoying satire so the dialogue are bad too sadly and nobody you actly want to talk to. worth 5 bucks still tho

I genuie love this game. The story is great since it is kinda the ''first'' Lost planet game before the first and second game. The soundtrack / mix tape is great. Fun to wander the rig and listen to some music and coffee hahaha. The graphics is also good. If u like good story based game u deff would like this. And ofc most of us missing lost planet 2.
