One day Hercules saw a girl who sobbed upon the shore.
She told the young stranger that her sister and beloved cat had missed after the evil Cretans attacked Thebes. The only clue was a message on the wall… Hercules fell in love with that girl named Megara at the first sight. So, our future hero starts his investigation and a long journey to the unknown lands for the sake of love!

A very familiar look and feel, with 5 chapters of 10 levels each, a bonus level in each chapter once you complete a chapter's jigsaw (you need to get that gold time!), plus a super-bonus level at the very end. This installment's new feature is the micro-levels accessed by pressing those "keyhole" buttons. Strategy is better implemented here, so look at the objectives, where they're located, and what resources appear to be predominantly required (there's usually one for each level) to avoid running short of time. A nice follow-up, with great amount of playtime for the price... AND we get to rescue kittens!
12 Labours of Hercules VIII: How I Met Megara continues the long-running time management series developed by Jetdogs Studios and Zoom Out Games, once again blending Greek mythology with fast-paced resource management and lighthearted storytelling. As its title suggests, this installment shifts focus to a more personal chapter in Hercules’ legend—the tale of how he first met Megara, his eventual wife. I played this game from start to finish, and I really enjoyed it, BUT I guess I've been spoiled. When I beat a game, I'm used to getting some animation and a little fuss given by the game. All I to was "Congratulations, you finished the game!" This annoyed me. Give me some stinkin' fireworks on my screen, dammit! I want a participation trophy, too! But I'll play the other games in the series, because this is a fun resource and time management game.

A good continuation in the series, not much is new in this game for the time management genre but it is still cute and has some humor in the story. It is a worthy continuator for the series.
