Solidly spoopy game. If you're fast and clever, you'll probably enjoy it. Check the other reviews first as they seem to be pretty mixed. While the game has some decent spoops with a good atmosphere, I don't think I will ever complete it because: * The AI corners me in the school so much that I'm ready to give up. * The blur effects that I have turned off in the menu are still there and it makes it very difficult to play. * The inventory interface feels clunky and reloading the flashlight feels like it takes forever. * It's hard to understand what the puzzles want from me later in the game. It's not a bad game, but I'd say you should purchase on a 50% off or greater sale. Hopefully the next game is more polished.4 found this helpful
Wow, what a terrifying and deep experience! AKAI NOROI is a highly atmospheric and non-linear game providing three possible endings each taking the player through new areas providing new pieces and lore to piece together the story. All stories intertwine and all enemies were once human which is a really nice layer of detail and pretty disturbing! The depth in this game speaks volumes about the developer as well as their support! I highly recommend getting this game due to the intensity and how terrifying it is but also due to the beautiful and unique visuals, the performance is also great running at 1080p60fps the entire game! Graphics 9/10 Gameplay 8/10 Audio 8/10 Overall score 90 / 100. A must buy for fans of Asian / Japanese style and for players enjoying a deep horror game with depth and replay value!3 found this helpful

Interesting horror game with good lore and atmosphere. The save game function was fixed and was the only thing wrong with the game, aside from being a little too dark for me. Definitely a good horror game to play. Full Review -> http://gametyrant.com/news/akai-noroi-review-escaping-from-japanese-folklore-horror1 found this helpful
This game genuinely has potential, it has a lot of issues, but it's a great start for an indie developer. I have a lot to say about the game, so here's a cheeky vidoe about it. https://youtu.be/Ko6f0RIp8yg?si=tsqatj4pYNOgfBMp
