About Ashen World

Ashen World is a strategic, turn-based rpg where you battle with failed genetic experiments know as Ashen, splicing DNA to modify and enhance how they act in battle. Enemies with randomized teams will battle you every step of the way, first drafting Ashen until each player has 4, then battling to the death. Every win gives you the option to buy new Ashen or genetically modify them with new passives, abilities, and steroids. Every loss takes you back to the beginning.
  • Endless Replayability: Every Ashen can learn any move and passive, so you can try a new strategy every run
  • Intentional Teambuilding: To succeed, you must design teams intentionally. As battles go on and enemies scale in power, it becomes more and more difficult to succeed without a well-designed team that can tackle any challenge
  • Meaningful Battles: Every battle is a chance that an Ashen will be inflicted with dehabilitating status conditions and lose a significant amount of health, if not die on the spot. Damage and status conditions persist throughout the run. Plan and navigate through battles carefully, to maximize health on key Ashen and save fossils later on.
  • Resource Management: Fossils are the key to success in Ashen World. Everything relies on them, from splicing DNA on key Ashen to healing status conditions and health. But there's never enough fossils to do what you want to do. Do you heal the good early game Ashen, or do you scale the strong late game Ashen? Deciding that can make or break your run.
