✦ AI summary

Players are divided on this experimental title, with some appreciating its unique artistic direction and interesting thematic elements, while others find it feels more like a half-baked proof of concept than a fully realized game. Common praise highlights intuitive design and charm in its unconventional presentation, particularly for those invested in the series, but critics note that the promising backstory and mechanics lack meaningful implementation and the overall experience feels underdeveloped. Most agree it's a niche experience best suited for existing fans of the developer's work rathe

I dont know what to say about this. Maybe for a dollar? It looks like alot of thought went into a backstory that amounted to little more than poor implementation. Surprisingly, the bits I enjoyed the most were the bits that didnt belong, the random -- out of place artwork. It has a bit of charm, but seriously -- this is barely a game.

Definitely a very interesting game. I echo the praise of other reviews and I'll also add that it's very impressive that even someone as dumb as I never had any questions about where to go or what to do. Looking forward to more.

Pretty awesome experience. So much charm and love was put into this. Fun little romp. 8/10.

Both a rocky proof of concept and something of an abstract art piece; within the first 30 minutes you hold onto hope that it is going to be higher concept than it actually is but every mechanic simply exists as a vehicle to get you further along the plot which has some intriguing thematic intersections but ultimately is just hardly even a story. I think this is the kind of dev that I will check back in on in ten years when they eventually release something that cracks the zeitgeist but until then it's really hard to call this anything other than a half-baked meme game for an audience of one. Seeing how the dev jumps concepts and half bakes all of them I think it'll take a while before they settle down with an idea they choose to nurture in earnest but when that happens I think all of the dev's personal weirdness will either catalyze into something very outsider art and perfect or metastasize into something alien and antagonistic to a fault. I love art that hates when you play it- it's one of my favorite genres- but there's nothing here that rewards you for cutting your teeth and gums against it.

Really only play it if you've played the other ones and are interested, for whatever reasons, in where the series goes. Not a technically good game, but interesting.

pretty fun addition to a world that I hope is expanded upon! I enjoyed it quite a bit and would've definitely been happy purchasing it if I hadn't received a key.
