Beacon Pines is a storybook adventure where you play as both reader and protagonist, collecting magical word charms that let you rewrite the narrative at crucial moments to uncover dark secrets in your small town. By branching through different story paths and experimenting with word choices, you'll unlock new plot threads and charms that reshape the entire mystery in this gorgeously twisted tale.
Something strange is happening at the old warehouse, and Luka and his friends seem to be the only ones taking notice. Sneak out late, make new friends, uncover hidden truths, and collect words that will change the course of fate!
While helping Luka investigate the strange goings-on in Beacon Pines, you’ll collect special golden charms, each with a word engraved on it. These charms can be used at certain turning points in the story to fill in a blank word and drastically change everything that follows.
As the book's reader, you’ll navigate the story’s turning points using The Chronicle: an interactive story tree that branches and grows along with your choices. Exploring one set of events can unlock new charms to use on another branch, leading you to jump back and forth between entirely different versions of the story in order to unravel the mysteries at the heart of Beacon Pines.

Lovely game. I played the demo a while back and just knew I had to get it eventually. Beacon Pines tells the tale of a city full of mysteries and various endings, alongside humorous and likeable characters. Its gameplay was reminiscent of "choose your own adventure" and allows for easy navigation to go back and make new choices. In fact, every choice needs to be explored if we wish to unfold the full, true story that lies behind Beacon Pines city and its residents. This concept was well executed whereas choosing a different path created unique new stories tailored with the knowledge we previously gained. Do not let its cartoony appearance fool you. This game is definitely teen+ and has language and jokes that reflect such. Overall, amazing game and it left me surprised with laughter more often than anticipated. Wow. 11/10 game. I could go on about how much I loved the art, the story, tthe twists, the turns, the choices, the MUSIC, the SOUNDS....but I will leave as much words as I was able to when I finished the game - Incredible. Absolutely incredible. Just buy it and immerse yourself.

The big gags in this game had me shocked and also I called it given I played way too many genres like this. But it was still very much an emotional rollercoaster and DEFINETLY A short game to keep yourself occupied!! I love it !!!!!
Stranger Things meets Animal Crossing, cool vibe. Obviously, don't expect a rich gameplay Got it on sale
