Its fun but no checkpoints or saving during levels. When you die you have to start levels over which kills the game for me.3 found this helpful
Interesting spin on the Doom formula, but unfortunately it suffers from the same problem I have with a lot of ultra-low-res games, which is that most of the game looks visually the same and it's pretty hard to read anything. Any given location in an area looks more or less the same as all of the other locations in that area. There's not a lot to visually distinguish one area from another. It might not be that much of a problem if the game happened slower, but it's a fast-paced Doom-like, and being able to read where you are and what you need to do is critically important.2 found this helpful

It is a very old-style FPS in graphics and gameplay. Good art and excellent metal soundtrack. However, be prepared that the game is extremely hard, even with assist modes on.
Difficult game but fun when you understand how to play it.
