Chemically Bonded

Chemically Bonded is an indie visual novel developed and published by ds-sans that builds its experience around romance, school life, and the complexities of repairing damaged friendships. Rather than aiming for an epic narrative, the game focuses on a smaller and more personal story, placing players in the shoes of a high school student who finds himself caught between two girls whose relationship has deteriorated over time. The premise immediately establishes a familiar anime-inspired atmosphere, blending lighthearted moments with emotional drama while inviting players to shape the outcome through their choices. This is simply a story about ex-best friends who had to cut off from each other due to an incident, and a passing-through student who may be the key to mending those severed bonds. The UI is nice, the voice acting is good, and the story is well-written (albeit with some typos and grammatical errors I caught during game play, and clear traces of anime/VN cliches).

I'm so-so on this game. I thought it was alright for me. In terms of quality this game is really great though.

Some surprisingly bad Engrish, and the voices for some of the characters are...... interesting. But it's got a good premise so far, and I'm enjoying it. If you're a fan of VNs, you'll probably like this just fine.

Romantic drama for younger audiences but well done. I liked the UI a lot, clearly much effort went into it in comparison with other renpy implementations I saw on steam. Story... well you need to see and judge by yourself I am too old to offer a valuable opinion on this one.
