Before I played Chronicles of cyberpunk - Deep sleep, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
3 found this helpful
You've done it again, Dima! I greatly enjoyed this game, just like I did the first Chronicles of Cyberpunk. After completing this game and reading the reviews, I think it's safe to say that this game requires the right mindset and expectations. This is a linear game that requires minimal strategy - it's a good pick if you want something that isn't going to be too taxing. I think Deep Sleep could have done without the directional assist, as that minimizes the need for exploration and navigation. The world is one of the best things about these games, and we should be encouraged to explore. The whole thing looks and feels like some Ikea-induced nightmare. What I liked about this game: the atmosphere, the music and sound effects, the story (which is hard to follow and convoluted, made even more so by the Google-translated English). What I didn't like about this game: directional assist, lack of atmospheric storytelling (which was far more prevalent in the first game). This game is free, and won't take long to complete. In my opinion, there's no reason not to give it a try.2 found this helpful
I think this got it own style, and a world sorta thought out, I like the concept of transferring conscience. But in the elevator going to ghost, the bottom broke, and you cant recall it back. It is a basic game, took less than 20 mins till that point. [Apparently this is a bug that happens with fps\ Since this is possible to move past, I recommend it now. I really liked the cool glass reflections adding illusion. I hope there are more games in the future.
I mistakenly played this one before its predecessor made a few years back, though I have to say after playing both, this is definitely the harder to one follow from a narrative perspective (it also keeps the awkward English translations). Deep Sleep plays just like the original one as well, where you go from Point A to Point B to talk to key NPCs or collect items and other basic objectives. This time, however, there are way more areas to explore, and more NPCs who are part of the plot for longer than a few scenes! Overall feels like a solid continuation of the Chronicles of Cyberpunk world the developer has created, and I look forward to seeing what the next one brings with it! Recommended for those who liked the first game in this series and want to see it made even more complex.
Direct continuation from previous title Chronicles of cyberpunk. Abstract and surreal story driven exploration game.
