I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing. Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side. With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of y…

‎I stumbled upon Frank Sudol's work and BlackArro's Cartoons on Youtube. Back in 2006. Bought the DVDs as well. ‎Ever since then, it instantly got me hooked, line and sinker! ‎His creations are so unique and the art style's truly one of a kind. ‎ ‎Yes, I was so late to discover about this game a month ago. ‎ ‎After struggling and enduring of playing this game from start to finish, it has potential. ‎But to be honest; needs a lot more work and fixing. Quite far from perfection. And a bit frustrating to enjoy as a normal and working properly game should. ‎ ‎Yet still I applaud Mr. Sudol's tenacity of making it all by himself. As always. Pure dedication for his fans. ‎And we all absolutely know, it wasn't easy. So because of that; I truly respect him. ‎ ‎Some of you may not know about him. ‎Who is this guy? ‎Frank Sudol is an American animator, writer, and director, primarily known for his independent horror / comedy animated films for mature audience. ‎He worked as an additional animator and assistant technical director on South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut (1999). One of my favorites among many outrageous yet hilarious movies. ‎:3 ‎ ‎Mr. Sudol is the creator of BlackArro Produc…

City of Rott: Streets of Rott, developed and published by FSudol Art Games under the direction of Frank J Sudol, is a side-scrolling beat ’em up that channels the chaotic spirit of classic arcade brawlers through a distinctly indie lens. Blending cartoon horror aesthetics with fast-paced melee combat, the game aims to revive the straightforward, pick-up-and-play energy of retro coin-op fighters while layering in exaggerated gore and eccentric character design. At its core, City of Rott embraces simplicity. Players progress through eight arcade-style stages filled with waves of undead enemies and culminating in boss encounters. Combat revolves around basic punches, kicks, and special attacks, supplemented by a wide assortment of pick-up weapons scattered throughout each level. Firearms such as pistols and shotguns offer ranged firepower, while melee tools and environmental hazards can be used creatively to dispatch enemies. The inclusion of vehicles—ranging from cars to bikes and skateboards—adds moments of over-the-top spectacle, allowing players to mow down hordes in bursts of chaotic momentum. The character roster provides variety in playstyle. Each playable fighter features un…

I watched the movie version when it was originally released and I enjoyed it overall. The artistic style translated well in video game format....but I'm afraid my praise ends there. The game is essentially a side-scrolling beat 'em up in the vein of Final Fight or Streets of Rage....but while those games had excellent controls....this game does not. They are simple....don't get me wrong....but you pretty much spend your time either moving forward to escape the re-spawning enemies....or being boxed in by said enemies....and getting knocked back and forth like a cat playfully swatting a mouse. Sometimes you just feel helpless....especially since there is no jump maneuver to get you out of a tight spot. The hit detection is wonky as well....and sometimes you'll get hit by an enemy that's a different elevation or seemingly not there at all. I played the game for a couple of minutes....until I got to an area where my path was blocked by piles of green goop....and I just quit playing when the game wouldn't let me destroy them or move past. At just under a dollar....the price was cheap....but as with everything else in life....you get what you pay for.
