One of my all time favorites.

very interesting game but the first hour or 2 felt really confusing and feels very confusing when plying it. the gameplay is quite nice with the combos and its cool to first the the modifiers to make the game harder even tho if u die die u restart and dont lose any abilities so that mechanics feels weird and if u lose a ability then the next encounter feels harder and harder its a weird difficulty scaling.

I've tried to get into this a few different times, but I just can't. I like the art style; I just can't take this game seriously when there's a seductive blue sword whispering sweet nothings into my ears every 5 seconds

I really loved it. Controls are smooth, the combat system is interesting. Story was kinda weird going through but really clicked at the ending. Started it, played nothing else until I got it 100%.

Another gripping game by Supergiant Games with a rich story, beautiful art, and a stunning soundtrack. The final song "Paper Boat", sung by Darren Korb and Ashley Barrett, is hauntingly beautiful and gives me goosebumps every time I listen to it. The story, which is obscured at the beginning but gradually reveals itself as you continue playing, Supergiant-style, is heartwrenching. After completing the game and seeing the final cutscene I just stared at the ceiling for 15 minutes processing everything. I appreciated that you can choose how much lore you decide to spend time exploring; you could choose to read each entry that is revealed to you to learn about how things came to be in this world, or you can choose to just acquire more cool "functions" (i.e., moves) and test them out to beat up enemies and keep progressing through the game. It's also fun to see how some of the combat mechanics of this game were carried into Hades. E.g., there are certain functions where you damage enemies while sprinting, or lob a ball that explodes, plus you can combine various functions to create a hybrid move. Overall, it's a satisfying and fairly short play. Would recommend!
