Is an experimental game made with FPS Creator that's trying to bring back the atmosphere of hardcore, dynamic, brutal, and challenging game experiences from late 90's.

Story

Four elite counter-terrorism squads storm secret cyborg and biological-warfare weapon production facilities. But none of the personnel, chief commander or the place for cyborg production are identified. All four squads find themselves in a death trap without any chance of getting out or contacting the outside world.

As Adam Crimson, sole survivor of the Omega squad, you will go through chain of psychological and physical trials, which together are above ordinary person’ power.

CRIMSON METAL is a first-person shooter developed and published by Madbox Entertainment that deliberately channels the spirit of late-1990s corridor shooters. Built around intense combat, industrial environments, and relentless enemy encounters, the game attempts to recreate the tension and brutality of classic FPS titles while layering in a dark sci-fi horror narrative. It does not aim for cinematic storytelling or modern design conveniences; instead, it commits to a raw, uncompromising experience that prioritizes survival, exploration, and firepower. The premise places players in the role of Adam Crimson, a lone operative trapped inside a secret facility that has descended into chaos. Cyborgs, mutants, and grotesque biological experiments roam the corridors, transforming the once-secure compound into a hostile labyrinth. The narrative itself unfolds mostly as background context rather than through elaborate cutscenes or character development. While the story remains relatively straightforward, it serves its purpose by providing motivation for the player’s descent into deeper, more dangerous sections of the complex. Level design is central to the experience. The environments con…

Crimson Metal is not a game from 1999, it's a GameGuru FPS Creator kitbash from 2017. Admittedly some changes have been made to make the game almost tolerable, but it still suffers from the jank and unpleasantness of FPS Creator, which as we should all know is hot garbage. And when you have an engine that's hot garbage, you get games that are hot garbage. With a price tag on it. Plus extra to buy more DLC too. The subject is appealing enough, you're a tough guy with a gun and you shoot other guys, great. The problems are almost entirely from GameGuru, it sucks, no matter how much you polish the proverbial, it's a pig that won't tolerate lipstick. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. I'm not sure if this is an asset flip, but it's one of those cases where the assets just look much better than the rest of the quality of the game... a glaring inconsistency. There's no evidence, but as always, the biggest problem with asset flips besides the plagiarism is the deplorably low quality of the other aspects of the game, and even if the game assets are genuinely created for the game, the quality of t…

Where to start, I have played a lot of Boomer Shooters, and to call this one is almost painful. First issue is NO options menu is was released in 2017.... no reason not to have some sound or video options never mind key binding. Second is the game play is broken. The AI has some wicked aim with some Wanted bullet curving skills. I wish I was recording but I entered a room and all the baddies was T posing and yet shooting me even after I ducked behind a box. I wish this game cooked for about a year longer and it would have been okay but as it is, It will be forever ABANDONED I have better games to play

The enemies with guns will shoot you the instant a single pixel of your hitbox enters their line of sight. Melee based enemies will hit you when they are nowhere close to you.
