In Cruise Ship Manager you’re supposed to build the cruise ship of your dreams and sail across the oceans. The game puts you in charge of running your own cruise liner. You hire crew members, place rooms, stock supplies, and plan trips across the Mediterranean. On paper it sounds like a fun management simulator, but in practice it often leaves you feeling bored or guessing what to do instead of actually managing things. Crew management also feels strange. Workers can’t queue tasks, so they often sit idle unless you constantly micromanage them. Staff can also get “burned out” from doing the very job they were hired for, which leads to odd situations where you start assigning completely different roles just to keep things running. There’s not even a permanent captain either, apparently that’s just a job anyone can do for the day. Customization is also very limited. You can place a few rooms, but there aren’t many ship designs and you can’t really customize them the way the game suggests. had high hopes this would be like cruise lines tycoon and it was headed that way but over time one thing became clear this game was quickly given up on no dlc no new content no updates most comments removed such a shame this game had tons of potential but it got dropped like a hot rock not sure why probably will never know I wish this game would get more updates or some new content but I doubt it highly.

The game is fun and I've always enjoyed this kind of format. My only quips with the game so far is the economics and staff management. The cost to upgrade to the next size cruise ship class is $150k but I can only make about $5-8k per cruise. I'll be playing forever at this rate. I also noticed the staff gets tired quickly and you have to manually assign and replace them. There should be a better employee management system to assign shifts or allow extra crew to step in when the others need rest. The last thing that's given me some heartburn is the constant onboard fires. There is no fire suppression system you can buy and you also have to assign the staff to put out the fire. The staff don't always react in real time and will just ignore or walk past a fire that are within their vicinity. Most of this are quality of life updates but I find them the most challenging to deal with and not having the options to react. I spend half my time trying to put out a fire on one of my cruises. These aren't deal breakers but on my wish list :)

This game was posted unfinished and hasn't been fixed. It should have been EA and only if they planned on working on it. Seems like a money-grab or fraud.
