✦ AI summary

Players praise TaleShop's ability to take familiar visual novel tropes and craft compelling, well-rounded characters and stories, with light gameplay that supports rather than distracts from the narrative. Common complaints center on the story feeling incomplete, as though it ends prematurely with a post-credits scene suggesting more is to come, leaving players wanting additional content to fully realize the game's potential.

As always, TaleShop delivers a great VN that manages to elevate stories and characters that are usually cliches into something much more round and interesting. The gameplay does it's job of giving you something to do in between scenes but is simple so that it doesn't intrude on the story. My only criticism is that, while it does end on a satisfying conclusion, it feels like a part 1 (Especially with the post credits scene) and so I'm a little unsatisfied as it feels like it should have kept going and become even better. Still, I would definitely recommend it as a short, relaxing VN.

So this game, Dungeon Lord is a visual novel with bits of idle element in it though it doesn’t go into the extremes of most idle games I’ve seen on the gaming market whereas most would require you to idle for a long period of time to stock up on resources and advance. The story starts with the MC, Demon Lord Montecristo losing the all-out war against humans, getting killed by the hero, and sent back years into the past right after he conquered his first dungeon with his memories intact. Of course going back into the past has its own repercussions, Montecristo now has stats equivalent to a level 1 rook not including the HP decrease as opposed to his previous level 90 lord stats, basically he is just a punching bag or training dummy. His enormous HP stat will be an important instrument in how the story plays. The biggest obstacle Montecristo has right now is obviously the glaring weakness of his stats so he needs to think of new ways to recruit allies as opposed to his previous timeline where he just no-diffs everybody. He also gains a childlike form alongside his stat decrease after getting sent back to the past, wonder how that will go. The core element is the visual novel part, y…
