What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players praise the game's striking alien environments with colorful coral forests and the spherical planet design, along with its philosophical narrative twist about helping others for genuine reasons rather than recognition. However, they note significant issues including bugs that block progression, poor optimization causing low frame rates, lack of in-game guidance or tutorials, and an inability to exit normally without using Alt+F4, though the core exploration and art style compel some to recommend it as a free indie experience worth trying.

I decided to try some indie games from the infinite Steam library. This is the second one. I am not quite sure that I have enough experience to judge games. However, below is my 15 minutes experience (6 pcs of gasoline are collected) in this game: - I definitely like the alien planet's environment: these multicolored coral forests look great. The planet is really spherical, you literally feel it. Faced with some bugs in the game: - The first jellyfish in the red forest is bugged: the shark in the cave is undestructable. Unable to get gasoline there - After the second or third replica from the jellyfish, it's hung on the screen The game definitely needs some key-binding tips and menu. The only way to exit from the game is to interrupt the process. That's not quite comfortable. But after all, it was funny. Definitely want to finish the game, if it will be fixed. Thank you dear author for your labor! :)5 found this helpful
Interesting game with a unique twist. You play as an astronaut who helps others just to be praised and called a hero. Every time you help someone, you get one gasoline, but your rocket somehow keeps needing more and more to leave. It loops endlessly. A true hero helps because they care, not because they want to be called one. improvement need to do for the game : -optimizing the game so run smoothly i only got like 30 fps using gtx 10605 found this helpful
It was free. Had I paid for it, I'm not sure I'd be happy with how it ends. Maybe I'm missing something, but the game was short, and I feel like it just left too much unsaid about it. I did like it, so I'm giving it 4 stars for art, a twist (not too much, the description does say what the game is), and the fact it's an indie game automatically deserves an extra point of note. I will say this though. I was very confused, and having to alt f4 the game to exit is not exactly something I want to do. It's rather intuitive in the way you control the character, however. ASWD and E. Give it a shot while it's free! I'll be keeping an eye open for Bottled Lightning Games, and maybe try more of their stuff after this.2 found this helpful
I am not much of a gamer, but I like these kinds of games that I was unable to appreciate as a 10-year-old boy, just play! Experience! Discover! I was first taken aback by the choppy graphics and wanted to leave after the first few minutes since there isn't much in the way of assistance in this game, no map button just straight up pushing you in the story, you are an astronaut in a foreign planet, which reminded me that the whole point of video games in general is to explore! EXPERIENCE! STOP GOOGLING THE HELP! or asking LLMs, to each their own, but yeah I did that and I ended up having a great time. Ha! Turned this review into a little journal. Sorry. OBJECTIVES OBJECTIVES OBJECTIVES! ACHIEVEMENTS! Forget that for a second and just play and explore. The game feels like something you could have found in a Nintendo 64 catalog. The game also has a message that it's trying to convey to you. Let it.. Give it the chance!1 found this helpful
