About Enemy Engaged 2: Desert Operations
Climb aboard an American RAH-66 Comanche, or the Russian KA-52 Hokum B, and prepare to experience low-level helicopter combat like never before! Sharpen your "line of sight" tactics on over 30,000 kilometers of treacherous landscape! War rages continuously on 3 diverse real world combat zones, where you engage the enemy as both pilot and co-pilot/gunner.
The main attraction of this add-on is to increase the importance of missions played in the desert areas. The main focus was on demonstrating the growing threat from Iran and the intervention of the United States and Russia in the region. However, battles against time also move to two other places - to Afghanistan, where, after a short period of peace and quiet, terrorist groups and the ice deserts of Antarctica have come to light again.
Regardless of the chosen location, the player has to choose the side of the conflict. Taking control of the American pilot we fly with the RAH-66 Comanche helicopter. In turn, standing on the Russian side, one sits at the controls of the KA-52 Hokum B machine.

Would I recommend this simulator? Yes. But with a big caveat. You will need to do some work to get it function properly. But if you just want to fly, the Cheat engine table to fix the aspect ratio is all you need. (check the link below for the guide). if only there was a sensitivity slider in the game, a pity really.6 found this helpful
A very good combat-helicopter simulator of the old days. Not too hard to learn, but still hard to master sometimes. You can play several campaigns with both helicopters and earn ranks and medals. The game works perfectly well on my Win11 system. (setting up speech-control is not mandatory - just click your minimized window to re-enter game and start your mission)3 found this helpful
Fun game. I've played EECH with the allMods modification and this version of Enemy Engaged is a bit more on the arcade side in comparison , but I still like it. I was able to get the game to work better using dgVoodoo 2 wrapper with the Dx9 components. I am using the Logitech X-56 Rhino HOTAS and created a Matric app specifically for this game which has been uploaded to the Matric community for sharing.2 found this helpful
