Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2

If you enjoyed the first Fuga and want more. This is more and about the same length. Story is predictable but does it's job well enough. Changes to combat is neither an improvement or a decline in quality, it's just change to vary things up slightly. New features are fine. Nothing special but have their pros and cons. The Item management seems to be far more forgiving here. Much easier to stock up on items almost too easy. I liked the first game more. Checking the Achievements 40%+ of players got to the credits. $25 was a fair price.

I'm giving all three games in the series the same review because the fundamental structure, graphics, and gameplay are virtually identical, except for a few variations as time progresses. I consider these games to be a single story divided into three parts, and they should be played as such. This is a story that starts out simple but goes to places that truly no one (who hasn't played the other games in the Little Tail Bronx project) could have predicted. Few games manage to expand while maintaining coherence across successive chapters, and this series does it very well. If you haven't played Tail Concerto or Solatorobo, certain situations and twists within the Fuga story will be incomprehensible, but I don't recommend searching for further explanations online until you've finished the third game to fully enjoy the crazy stuff that happens. And from the second game on, it only gets more insane. All three games have great replay value and plenty to discover, especially if you're interested in solving all the individual mysteries of the single game and learning more about the characters and the world you'll be taking with you throughout this long story. Good game, would recommend

French child Furries fighting together to beat emo boy and [spoiler] psycopath MoistCr1Tikal [/spoiler] in a mysterious but powerful tank. Great music, great character, good gameplay, good plot

The game's mechanics are almost identical to the first one but, since it was already an excellent proposal for turn-based JRPG lovers such as myself, this makes sure that you are going to love it, provided that you already enjoyed the first one. Do not play it unless you have already finished the first game, as it is a direct sequel and bears very heavy spoilers, especially for such a story-driven game.
