IN MY HEAD
It is the sixth horror walking simulator game by JustTomcuk developer and it is a very short game! It offers creepy atmosphere, same as previous titles overall. The "walking speed" is still slow as hell in this game. The biggest irritant is the overuse of the motion blur, a setting I DESPISE SO MUCH but cannot deactivate since there are no menu! My eyes are all still fuzy after finishing the game. Just like every walking sims out there, the game is VERY linear and the story was quite weak. The scary moments are mostly the jump scares that you get at times but the atmosphere is creepy in itself. The visuals, audio and level design are quite below average. The game supports UltraWide Screen monitor and contrary to other titles by JustTomcuk, an FOV option would've been good here. Again, the overuse of motion blur truly irritated me the most!
RECOMMENDATION:
No, I do not recommend this one and I played better games by JustTomcuk. Even on a sale, you should consider something else instead! 2 found this helpful
At first, the game feels strange, but it slowly starts to make sense. It genuinely scared me on a psychological level ، imagining facing all the thoughts inside my head. The art style is beautiful and kept me playing, and the sound design added a lot to the experience, I recommend it to anyone who enjoys psychological horror.1 found this helpful
Another great game from this developer
7800x3D - 4080 Super, 32Gb Ram. Very very rarely do I stop playing a game mid stream, but I could even hear my own chat starting to fall asleep with this. From the bugs to the no direction game play and no story/dialog without Tangia this would have been even more of a crash and burn. I'm so sorry I feel like a ♥♥♥♥ with this review as I very rarely give a bad one but this one took the mickey.... ---{ Graphics }--- ☐ You forget what reality is ☐ Beautiful ☐ Good ☐ Decent ☑ Bad (Auto blurring of the camera was shocking) ☐ Don‘t look too long at it ☐ MS-DOS ---{ Gameplay }--- ☐ Very good ☐ Good ☐ It's just gameplay ☐ Mehh ☐ Watch paint dry instead ☑ Just don't ---{ Audio }--- Audio atmosphere overall was spot on and helped add to the horror, however the audio does need to be compressed a lot more as the highs are wayyyy to loud and end up peaking your speakers/headphones with the lows being too low for you to compensate with reduced volume. ☐ Eargasm ☐ Very good ☐ Good ☑ Not too bad ☐ Bad ☐ I'm now deaf ---{ Audience }--- ☐ Kids ☐ Teens ☑ Adults ☐ Grandma ---{ PC Requirements }--- Please add a FPS limiter to help stop the game running at max FPS available, this will effect…
By far one of the worst games, very confusing on where to go. Your eyes blur so frequently that I got a headache playing, there was no way to pause the game or edit any settings. I've played three of Just Tomcuk's games so far and the other two were very good. I'd recommend them over this
I was really enjoying this game and the jump scares as horror game are my number one, unfortunately I got stuck on a bit outside and just couldnt seam to progress and that was shame as I like to finisih my games. Might try again in the future.
