About Jesus Christ RPG: Lucifer
Finally the long awaited prequel to Jesus Christ RPG is out! Play as Lucifer, the devious dark angel, in this retro arcade styled four-directional shooter. Relive the glory of old games while enjoying the conveniences of our modern HD output.
Very loosely based on John Milton's Paradise Lost, this game intersperses quiet and contemplative conversations with the high-octane shmup action of retro arcade games. SIxty-two levels await for you. Are you tough enough to become the dark prince of hell?

Players praise this retro-style arena shooter for its engaging arcade gameplay, witty and humorous dialogue between levels, and fair but challenging difficulty that rewards skilled play. Common complaints center on the lack of invincibility frames after taking damage (a standard arcade feature), occasional technical issues like crashes, and the steep difficulty curve that can frustrate players, though most consider the low price and overall fun factor well worth it.
This is a fun, arcade feeling, top down 4 direction arena shooter. It offers a fair but tough challenge (especially in the later levels). The music is jolly and catchy and there are many laughs to be had with the dialogue between levels. Whilst it's a very different game to Jesus Christ RPG, the theme, humour and graphic style should appeal to fans of the earlier game. Buy it !7 found this helpful
You'll have a blast if you treat this like a retro NES arena style shooter. I do enjoy the story of usurping heaven, and that line Lucifer says to the angel, to tell Falafel to save him was priceless. Features: One shot at a time, powers up to 2, long, and quick speed. Avoid the turtles. When you lose (blasted arrows you have to time to avoid), you can continue but with 1 life. Git guud. Good storyline intermissions between the gameplay. Only $2. Overall, if you're wanting to try some arena style shooter, it's worth a shot.6 found this helpful

Except for the fact that it would be fair if Satan would have 2 to 3 seconds of invencibility after getting hit (as it usual in this kind of old-syle arcade games) I enjoyed it. Unfortunatelly, last time I played, as I got into Eden, the game crashed. Divine intervention? Also this game teachs you that you will go to Hell if you listen to Nickleback. I pray that a Hero Will Save Us from such a curse...2 found this helpful

This game is actually really fun. Like really really fun. I like that the combat is more about taking advantage of the opponents. The dialogue in between levels is also super funny. The game is pretty challenging, though. I would highly suggest playing this game.
