About Kreeps
Kreeps is a tower defense game where you choose how your towers and the enemies scale as the game progresses.
Choose your path
At the end of each wave the player makes 3 choices:
1. Select a location
Location choices give all Kreeps a permanent buff and also extend the path. These buffs stack as the game progresses.

2. Select a Kreep
Kreep choices are added to each following wave.

3. Select a shop card
The shop provides the choice of a weapon to purchase, 3 random free upgrades, or the choice of extra gold. Only 1 can be selected each wave.

Choose from 7 different types of towers and weapons each with their own unique upgrades for a variety of strategies to choose from.

There are 6 different types of Kreeps each with their own weakness. Choose carefully.

"Kreeps" is a basic TD game with a couple of interesting twists and gimmicks around the tower upgrade process, which is all fine and welcome, but the technical implementation quality is -1 out of 10 here. This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. The developer chose not to do the job of a real game developer and create meaningful bespoke levels, narrative based gameplay progression and so on. Instead, they decided that "Procgen IS content!" and lazily tried to use procgen algorithms to create infinite, samey, repetitive, soulless levels, because that's a lot less work. As a result of this poor decision, the game gets tired and repetitive almost immediately. Developers must learn that procgen is a terrible substitute for creating real…2 found this helpful
Torn on this one, but in the end the things it is lacking overwhelms the interesting bits. First off, the map. It grows each turn, but the player has no say in the direction it goes. It just becomes a long twisty tube. On the plus side however, you do get to pick the kind of terrain it will be. Each type of terrain gives the critters a buff. Not sure if that buff is only when they are in that terrain, if they keep it after they leave that terrain, or get it right from the start. The player also gets to pick one of two types of creatures to join in the onslaught, the creatures being new-terrain specific, if you pick dessert you might get camel, if you pick a cold terrain you might get penguins. The choice is always really obvious though, as you see their stats and just pick the weaker one. At the end of the wave you also get to pick a buff for your side. One is a weapon which you can use for tactical attacks, several boost one of the tower types, and the last one is an amount of money which goes up the more times you have picked additional coins. The monsters are mildly interesting, but I didn't see anything really deep, creatures always follow the path, none seem to heal …
Although I'm really not smart enough to figure out how to get to the end, it's a good game. My computer is a potato and it never crashed playing this so I appreciate that. The only thing I would really add is some sort of milestone reward system so inept players like myself could actually finish.
addictive
Might want to patch the game-breaking exploit where you sell towers for more than you bought them lmao
