С первых минут она бросает тебя в самую гущу событий, где скорость — это не просто параметр, а стиль жизни. Управление отзывчивое, но требует привыкания, так что первые заезды, скорее всего, закончатся зрелищными столкновениями и эффектными переворотами. Трассы тут — это отдельная песня: витиеватые, полные неожиданных поворотов, трамплинов и ловушек, которые то и дело норовят отправить тебя в небытие. Визуальный стиль игры нарочито аляповатый и яркий, что только усиливает общее ощущение безумия. Музыкальное сопровождение под стать — бодрый саундтрек, который идеально подходит для того, чтобы гнать вперед, не оглядываясь. Это не та игра, где нужно долго разбираться в механиках или стратегии. Ludicrous Speed — это про чистые эмоции, про реакцию и про то, чтобы просто получать удовольствие от дикого, неуправляемого драйва. Если ищешь что-то, что заставит твои пальцы вспотеть и вызовет улыбку от нелепых ситуаций, то ты по адресу.

"Ludicrous Speed" is a badly made VR tech demo, a very shallow endless runner with a shop description slapped together with AI slop and a technical implementation on par with that level of creativity... basically none. What do you do in the game? Wave your arms and head around to avoid obstacles and collect stuff in this very weak Temple Runner knockoff. The graphics aren't great, low poly neon garbage. That's understandably a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. It's VR exclusive, and that shows the developer failed to understand the most basic axiom of VR game design... if the only cool thing about your product is VR support, your product is not cool. You're forced to sign a highly questionable yet legally unenforceable End User License Agreement... for such a relatively low effort, low quality product, this comes across more as a delusion of grandeur than anything else. i didn't play it for long but i will say that for a totally free game that actually gives a semi fast feel it's better than i expected. you could control with either controls or motion and it did work quite well. it would be nice if the environment order was possibly more random after the first lap or if the game was able to "get harder" after either reaching a certain number of laps or having a certain score or maybe even combining danger object types across the available worlds to create even more variation it would be cool. otherwise, for a free game that lets you test out vr with little hassle its worth at least a look. i hope who ever made this has been able to make more interesting things.
