Literally could not start the game. Controls would not work and was asked 20 questions that were looping with no end. Looks to be a curious game but unable to play gives it the thumbs down.2 found this helpful
"Moon Rider" is a badly made Russian "art installation", a poorly made attempt to create a visual novel with an "endless riding" motorcycle screen saver between bits of badly written and badly translated e-book text. At least they didn't try to charge money for this garbage. The developers abandoned this 1 year and 10 months ago. It will never be completed. This unfinished game is just polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuinely, completely made games. It's difficult to call this a game; it feels less like an entertainment product and more like a digital art exhibit trying to pass itself off as a game. What negligible gameplay there is serves only as a flimsy excuse to pass this off as a game when gameplay wasn't the developers intention... and that's a problem. We're here for games. It's true that games can be art, of course... art is where the pinnacle of creativity, craftsmanship and expertise come together to form something greater than the sum of its parts. This product does a poor job of all of those three. The Mona Lisa would not be hanging in the Louvre if she was drawn as a stick figure in crayon on a napkin. Super buggy unfinished game. Even if you try to get used to the clunky controls, the random and unnecessary 'minigames' ruin it even more. The game doesn't exactly tell you when the 'minigames' appear and what to do during them, but if you lose during these events, you're sent to a 'retry' screen where the game cuts to a black screen forever. Also, what is up with the dialogue choices and the 'story'? What even is the purpose of this game exactly?
