Mycorrhiza is a love letter to horror manga in the form of a visual novel. Some of our biggest inspirations include the works of Junji Ito and Masaaki Nakayama.
While Scott is trying to find a way back home, reality distorts and people’s morals start shifting in cruel and unexpected ways. A peculiar plant transforming animals, a horrifying comedy trend and a strange building trapping people. Each of the three arcs explores different terrors.
As you explore this terrifying world, you'll find out more and more about how and why Scott is trapped in it and what lead up to Scott being spirited away.

Shocked this doesn't have more reviews! A very very solid love-letter to horror manga with high quality artwork. The game plays like 3 mini-Junji Ito one-shots with an interesting outro as well. None of the stories hit me with the same punch as their inspiration, and I think they would have benefitted from being a bit longer and exploring more the weirdness of each scenario, but I love the premises and enjoyed exploring the branching paths. It's not scary at all but the art is good, the OST is great and solving the mystery was pretty entertaining. The ending is a little lacking, but overall this was a fun read. Tho I'd reccomend this on a discount.
Absolutely loved this game, especially when it came to the art. The storyline was a bit confusing at first but reading the journals truly helped. Had a few jumpscares here and there.
