About Nights of Azure 2: Bride of the New Moon
A Tale of Three Beautiful Maidens Drawn to Each Other.
When three friends, deceived and separated by the tricks of darkness, find each other again, their bond shall become the light that will clear away the shadows and guide them towards the truth...
Beautiful maidens, Servans, battles and growth system - all these elements return in an evolved form in the second instalment of the gothic fairy tale action RPG series "Nights of Azure".
As Aluche and her battle party set off on their journey to defeat the Moon Queen, they will encounter a variety of devious and dastardly demons; some of which mean to bring them harm and others which wish to join them on their quest. The mighty Striker type Servans are invaluable assets to any battle party, transforming from their demonic forms to powerful weapons which Aluche can wield in battle. Controlling the Striker type opens up a plethora of abilities to aid in combat situations, improving Aluche’s skills in either long range or close combat depending on which particular Servan she relies upon.

I only cant give this game a negative review bc of my nostalgia for nights of azure 1. the first game was infinitely better than this one in every way, but this sequel still has a few similarities with the original. it was really disappointing to see such a huge downgrade to the servan system and the combat, everything became much more repetitive and tiring, and theres constantly a special attack animation where you just keep pressing the same button over and over to deal more damage, honestly its really boring and unnecessary. the servans also became much more useless. before each one had several different attacks that made combat feel fast paced and dynamic, now you just keep pressing a single button for each servan to attack and use its special. i also didnt like that they reduced the number of servans in your party just to replace them with a human companion. i much prefer little creatures and monsters over annoying people. and that was the biggest thing that made me dislike this game. the characters were extremely annoying, they turned everything into romance, every human companion wants some kind of romance and all the scenes are romantic. worst of all the protagonist is fema…25 found this helpful

Nights of Azure 2: Bride of the New Moon, developed and published by KOEI TECMO GAMES CO., LTD., is an action role-playing game that blends gothic fantasy with a strong emphasis on character relationships. Set in a world consumed by darkness and overrun by demonic creatures, the story follows Aluche, a holy knight assigned to escort her childhood friend Liliana, who has been chosen as a sacrificial figure meant to bring an end to the night. What begins as a tragic duty quickly turns into something more personal, especially after Aluche is resurrected as a half-demon, forcing her to navigate the conflict between her mission and her own emotions. The narrative places a heavy focus on the bond between its central characters, and much of the experience revolves around strengthening these relationships. The game introduces a cast of companions known as Lilies, each with their own personalities and backstories, and players can build affinity with them through events and shared missions. These interactions are meant to add emotional weight to the story, and at times they succeed, particularly in quieter moments where the characters are allowed to develop naturally. However, the overall p…1 found this helpful
Awesome game. One of the few games similar to Castlevania Curse of Darkness out there. My only Criticisms are that most of the outfits are not great and the one outfit I did like needed to be modded in as it was one of the many exclusive outfits(the fatal frame outfit). In the same vein there doesn't seem to be a way to access the pre-order dlc. Aside from that I wish Servan points would carry over in NG+. Definitely enjoyed the game and it was worth the time.1 found this helpful

THE POWER OF LESBIANS COMPELS YOU! In all seriousness, I feel the game overall is great. Good, but not great combat mechanics, loveable characthers that I loved getting invested in, a good but short story that kept me intrested until the end, and some fun DLC that adds to the good story. 8/10 would reccomend!
