Feels really sluggish and frankly a lot more bring that I would imagine, Unfortunetly I started playing over 2 weeks after buying so no refunds. Might come back to it later.2 found this helpful
While not bad, its overall a step down from the 1st. There is some a good frame work in place for oceanhorn2 but then left it bare. No need to re-post details of what other reviews have already said. combat, overworld, puzzles all could have used love. so much of this world seemed empty and un unsed; yet you had to wander it. This game is in serious need of polishing. There are a lot of annoying bugs, specifically with your character jumping at inappropriate times, and the stamina system is horrendous. You sprint 10 feet and need to wait like 30 seconds to recover from it. I struggled my way through the game until I ran into a boss fight I simply could not figure out. Turns out it wasn't a skill issue on my part but rather a game-breaking bug. The boss was not doing an attack it was supposed to do. During said absent attack is the players opportunity to deal damage. So with it glitching and not doing the attack it was literally impossible to defeat the boss and progress in the game. (edit: I did find a way around this. Turn on V-Sync in the settings and lower the FPS... because of course that was what was breaking the game... the default settings... trash game) Bottom line, this Zelda clone is an extremely frustrating, annoying, bugging, and painful experience to play. Do not under any circumstances waste any money on this POS. Not a single penny. After completing the game my negative review stands. Game isn't bad...I've definitely played far worse - just doesn't do anything great. Starts out interestingly enough but with what time i gave it, i found it to be boring and a chore to play with no signs of it improving. Just feels like the game lacks any soul that would've made it fun and worth the time. It appears to try to be a Zelda game and while it does take some stuff from those titles...you're better of just going to play those titles if you're looking to scratch that itch.
