So again an dev that have great ideas, but nearly zero dedication to finish what he started. DON'T BUY THIS unfinished mess.23 found this helpful

I prefer to play simulators at the first place. There aren't too many sail sim on the market so I am happy for this one. Ok, I haven't played much yet but the sim part is working for me. I play it without time compression. After 16 hours of gameplay I just left Gibraltar behind me and go into the Mediterrian Sea. I hope there with the parallel contracts and densier ports I will get money easier because the economy system is harsh a little bit. After all it is a good sail sim so far. I hope with bigger ships and crew it will works fine as well. Good wind!1 found this helpful
This is a great game really what i was looking for i hope a mod community rises up to support A+
I love the style of game viking makes. My garage was a banger, I bought sail the seas to support the dev in his work. Based off my garage, I knew sail the seas would be fun, and it is. Dont listen to the haters viking makes games that resonate with a specific type gamer who enjoys immersion and simulation. Keen to see what he adds, deff get this game and support a great indie dev!
If your looking for a really good sailing sim its great, but if your looking for all the land details and the NPC s in ports to be perfect as well than maybe its not for you. That end of the game is under developed for now!
