About Submerged
Explore a hauntingly beautiful flooded city at your own pace, piloting a boat and climbing abandoned buildings to scavenge supplies that might save your brother's life. This serene, combat-free adventure weaves environmental storytelling and meditative exploration into a poignant tale of sacrifice and redemption.

Submerged is a third-person combat-free game in which you explore a mysterious flooded city and discover the beauty of desolation in vast outdoor environments. You take on the role of Miku, a young girl who has brought her wounded brother to the city in their small fishing boat.

Navigate the flooded city streets by boat, scale the drowned buildings, and use your telescope to scour the city for the supplies needed to save your dying sibling. As you explore the city at your own pace, you encounter the habitat that flourishes in this colorful place and discover hidden objects that piece together the story of a broken world and a broken family.

Game Features
- Vast outdoor environments with a rich, colorful and vibrant habitat present the player with a beautiful place to linger during the day or night, and encounter the mysterious remnants that watch you from the rooftops.
- A serene and relaxing game experience; take your time to enjoy the sunrise and beautiful vistas, listen to the sound of the ocean, or observe the playfulness of the creatures that inhabit this place. There is only one pace in this game and that’s your own.
- Discover the hidden objects that piece together the story of redemption, sacrifice and determination, and learn more about how the city came to be this way.
- Cruise through the city streets in your small powered fishing boat, using your telescope to identify which of the various buildings contain supplies and mark them on your map.
- Discover the best path to the objects you spotted from afar. Dock your boat at tall buildings and landmarks and climb the vines, ladders, ledges and pipes as increasingly difficult navigation puzzles.
- Developed by an independent studio based in Australia, consisting of AAA veterans who have previously worked on the BioShock series, with music from BAFTA award winning composer Jeff van Dyck.

Gorgeous exploration game. No stress, just good music and steering your boat around while mutated (but beautiful) sea creatures accompany you on your journey. Save your brother at the same time, but there's no rush. Great for people who want a brain break in a beautiful environment. Looking forward to the sequel!1 found this helpful
This is one of those games that honestly surprised me! I've eyed it for a few years now, and doing research on it, it's another short game, so I decided to give it a try! I absolutely loved this! The boat controls are fast and comfortable, the climbing controls feel pretty smooth, and the map itself isn't too big but it's big enough to really enjoy the exploration!
Seeing all the other reviews, the game might be tedious and boring for some, but I enjoyed it. Going through a submerged city overtaken by plants and oceanic wildlife on a small motorised boat is a fun little puzzle to solve as your task is to ascend the sky-high buildings and the ruins of the ages past looking for secrets and supplies to help your injured brother to heal. With some small annoyances of a smaller studio project it's still a well made adventure for an evening or two to relax and step back from the worries of the day. The reimagining of the world after a change in climate and living contidions, you're transfered into something familiar and yet strange. With the added bonus of the oceanic wildlife, you'll have a chance to get amazing screenshots of whales and race with the dolphins. The game has some accessibility issues such as: flashing light from the lightning when there's a storm and having to press down buttons for tedious lengths of time as well as some of the game time being at lower light conditions. The best accessibility features in the game are keymapping and that you can at whatever point in time just recall back home without spending effort to naviga…
Nice to look at but boring and tedious.
A family friendly casual game that is basically just the parkour from the Assassins Creed games. Fun but short.
Submerged was a beautiful, simple premise of a game with eye-catching (but not quite mesmerising) graphics and an uncomplicated search, rescue and save a life central game story/ progression. The game can be finished and the ending achieved even if you do not find all the hidden objects to piece together the total story but I am relieved to discover that you can continue - with all previous loot safely saved - to play on casually in exploration mode to finalise all achievements and don't have to start all over again. There is plenty to keep you occupied for a good few hours; buildings to climb, sea creatures to encounter, steering practice, map navigation, cutscenes galore... It's great but not fantastic in my opinion. Maybe don't play If you have naviphobia, thalassophobia, astraphobia, atephobia, leprophobia, cymophobia, cetaphobia...
