About Swords and Sandals Pirates

You have been a knight. You have been a gladiator. Now, for the first time in Swords and Sandals, you are a PIRATE!

Join us on the grandest adventure of all in Swords and Sandals Pirates the latest epic chapter in the hugely popular game series! The Four Oceans War is upon us, and it is time to board a ship, set sail and claim your stake of the Tritonian Oceans.

This is a pirate themed RPG / strategy unlike any other. One part Civilization, one part Ancient Art of War, one part Monkey Island, S&S Pirates sees you control one of ten famous sea captains, compete for islands, build ships, fight battles on land and sea, duel in arenas and on masts, search for treasure and try to avoid mutinous crews on your quest to gain control of Tritonia's massive oceans.

Swords and Sandals Pirates is by far the biggest and most tactical of all the S&S games. For fans of 2008's S&S Crusader, you'll love this spiritual sequel to the classic wargame. For newcomers to the series or fans of pirate games in general, you'll find this game sometimes fun, sometimes hilarious, sometimes challenging bout always infinitely replayable!

What are you waiting for? Your ship is waiting for you, the time has come to lay your claim to the Four Oceans and become the greatest pirate captain of all.

A bit buggy. I mean its $7, i think nostalgia does some heavy lifting for this franchise. i really like the concept of moving around your pirate ship. despite travel from island to island taking a few hours, your crews morale will plummet horribly in no time at all. i think maybe a clever thing would be to focus on resources before keeping a manned crew. searching for wood or even resources that can only give you gold will still make your crew terribly miserable. and 90% of the time i never got wood, despite choosing hechaos, so i guess his luck bonus didnt apply to that- it also didnt apply to fights. i think its good for random encounters via adventures and thats it. on top of that, i got the duelling skill which doesnt actually apply to fights, unless its gladiator fights i think. this was frustrating because i expended a decently sized fighting force of range, heavy, and light forces to soley target a captain, bringing her down to 2 hearts versus my full health. despite this, it was a stale mate. she took every heart and i took her 2 and we died at th same time- but i was the only one who lost- despite having surviving troops and her having absolutely zero army left. so somehow…

cozy and simple game definitely made mostly for mobile not too much too the game has a good 4 playthroughs in it has good vibes and music reminds me a bit of a mix of s&s 5 dungeons and crusaders mixed into a game, i feel like it easily couldve had more complexities and unfortunately the AI kinda feels down graded compared to s&s crusaders and easier but i enjoyed it and think its kinda of a cute game all in all 7/10

Super Punishing, dumbass AI, 1 in 4 at best chance of instantly dying with no counter play, unreasonably difficult to gain materials, which every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ upgrade/building in the game needs, like sure I can pay 150 mats for a wall, it'll only take me searching 20 islands until I actually get ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ materials from the material gaining search. FFS Can't even name my ship any expletives, why the ♥♥♥♥ would it matter in a singleplayer game?
