Idk man... I only bought the previous episode with Snow White and the Wizard on sale and this one but I really don't like the female MC I just...can't. I also don't like the sexual jokes randomly added here and the Japanese words written in romaji like ''Sugoii!! ( Wow!)'' Why? Just why? Did toddlers write and translate this game? Overall really confusing...I REALLY liked playing Snow Whites story but the rest was just so awkward and sometimes creepy in my eyes I dislike the character writing... and I really can't like the female MC Im so sorry...I got interested when the story was in Alice's POV this time at the beginning but got disappointed when it switched back to Yurika and her brothers. I really could care less about Yurika. It is not her fault for being written so badly...2 found this helpful
WOW. No words can describe the love I have for this game. The theming , music, voice acting and characters all hit the mark for me. This is the finale from episode 1, 2, and 3 and IMO its a great way to wrap out the story. Just really love the game. 10/10, need to buy all episodes + epilogue but it was a ride worth the wait
Taisho x Alice Epilogue is a fantasy otome visual novel inspired by classic fairy tales. It features a choice driven structure with multiple bad endings and one happy ending for each love interest. The game is developed by Primula and published by Pencil. It supports Steam achievements and is fully playable on the Steam Deck. One of the most interesting aspects of the game is its cast. The male love interests are based on well known fairy tale characters, and they are gender swapped. Episode I focuses on Cinderella and Red Riding Hood. Episode 2 focuses on Gretel and Kaguya. Episode 3 focuses on Snow White and the Wizard. The epilogue centers on Alice. The story opens with an original prologue that differs entirely from the previous episodes of the series. Surrounded by endless darkness, players take on the role of Yurika Arisu. Within this void, she meets Alice, a blonde young man with bright blue eyes voiced by Yoshitsugu Matsuoka. When Yurika touches a mysterious mirror, its glossy surface ripples gently like flowing water. This supernatural mirror grants her the ability to travel into alternate worlds. She begins to run and chase after Alice, hoping to uncover the hidden truth…
This was a beautiful conclusion to the Taisho x Alice series! The plot was wrapped up so nicely, the characters had satisfying conclusions, and a lot of questions were explained or resolved. The story was also beautifully told, and I found myself tearing up at some parts! Amazing writing, characters, and protagonist, this otome and its lovely tale is worth every second.
Guided all my prince to their happily ever after !
The final chapter of the main story of TAISHO X ALICE. If you've made it here, I'll assume you're already finished with the other routes and looking for closure. If not... go back and finish them. What are you doing here? The story is so vastly important with every character that you can't possible expect to understand it without them. This review will contain spoilers. Do not read any further. In this chapter we reach our final, true love interest,
Alice, or Alistair.
The psychological trauma we've endured with each iteration of this story ties itself up in this chapter, but not without ripping out my heart, stomping on it, and making me feel like i ran an emotional marathon. It's honestly pretty messed up of a story. We finally understand that
Alistair is struggling with DID, and every main love interest is one of his personalities.
The way it paints his perspective of this is brutal and horrible, not sparing us in the slightest. This is the first otome I played where I didn't feel bad loving each route the same, because
they're all the same man anyway.
I highly recommend this game. It was such an amazing ex…
