About Dark Light: Survivor
Dark Light: Survivor is a roguelike survival game where you play as one of the last humans, journeying through a shattered multiverse in search of the fabled Elysium.
The Dark Void has unleashed horrific creatures that decimated humanity and fractured the multiverse. Amidst this chaos, a legend speaks of an Elysium untouched by the darkness.
The remnants of humanity have uncovered celestial quantum technology, using it to construct the Phantom Train, capable of traversing the multiverse.
As a Dark Hunter, you are aboard the Phantom Train, hoping to reach Elysium. In each universe, you must collect energy to power the train for the next leap. Prepare yourself to face increasingly terrifying and powerful creatures, for the journey is perilous, and Elysium remains elusive.

This game is pretty awesome! I got it on a whim since I've been in a roguelike kick the past few months. Oh my goodness this arguably is the best early access game I have played! There isn't a lot in terms of content, only three playable characters and a few relics might be pretty bare-bones, but this game has the potential to rival some of the crazy good rogues of today! If I can suggest anything, I'd like us to be able to collect different relics, weapons, more weapon attachments, and possibly armor to make other characters and builds a taaaad more viable. If anything, the loot aspect is on the *weaker side* of this game, I want us to have gear sets and harder difficulties to unlock more stuff! Great work devs! Be proud of your hard work!5 found this helpful
God, I love this game. Yeah, it's janky. Yeah, it's incredibly unbalanced. Yeah, the steamdeck settings make it look like hot ass. Yeah, the pixel mode is a hilarious joke. But listen, you ride into battle astride a phantom train, and the ♥♥♥♥ you do from there only gets more badass. This is a Survivor-like where the combat actually feels good. It's blowing my freaking mind. The is the definition of a rough early access game. It needs content, more items, more skills, more options, more QoL features, and a few balance passes. But it's already very fun and very playable, especially on the Steam Deck. Where, yeah it looks like a butt, but it runs a solid frame rate even at maximum chaos. It's actually impressive.2 found this helpful
Best way to describe this game would be if Diablo, Risk of Rain, and Borderlands had a secret 3 way love child. For being an EA title only like a month or so. There are some good bones here. More content is needed for sure but what is there is decent.(They also just recently added the void rift content which has been alot of fun!) That being said there is a bit of EA jank here and there, that's to be expected my only gripe and this will probably change in the future is balancing between weapon types. Seems like alot of builds are geared more twords Melee and this works for the knight. The other two characters seem to fall behind a little once it starts getting later game. The gunslinger can keep up decently if you max his passives, the mage however is pretty lackluster in comparison. She has nice cooldowns but alot her skills are kinda jank/hard to properly use. Also what's up with Molten Orb dealing 0 magma damage all the way to lvl 5? is that a UI bug cuz if not that seems a little silly. Although I have been using the starter staff even with the unique upgrades magic doesn't come anywhere close in DMG compared to melee/guns and I feel like some upgrades mess up the hitbox on e…1 found this helpful
hoping to see a more dedicated option setting for all characters but especially the magic user. outside of this it is a very challenging and fun game. a cool way to spend some idle time and very recommended.
Nice!
It's unique.
