There aren't many areas in the game, but the available ones are done well. There aren't many items that can be interacted with in the first place, though. [h3]Story[/h3] The story is bland. The game gives a warning that it tells the story of how [b]Tango Fiesta[/b] was born, but it feels too general that anyone who has experience in participating in game jam will know roughly how it is. "The Legend of Tango" is an insincere and badly made RPG Maker asset flip with a "comedy" theme, but of course the only funny thing about this is that someone genuinely thought it would be okay to publish something this badly made on Steam. RPG Maker is a terrible construction kit, in Kadokawa's own words, "easy enough for a child", and to some extent we can all agree if a child made this it would probably be of better quality. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 6 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.

Игра "The Legend of Tango" приятно удивила. Не ожидал от проекта такого масштаба и глубины. Сюжет, хоть и поначалу кажется простым, быстро затягивает своей нелинейностью и множеством интересных персонажей. Мир игры проработан до мельчайших деталей, чувствуется, что разработчики вложили в него душу. Боевая система, основанная на ритме танго, оказалась на удивление свежей и увлекательной. Поначалу сложновато, но, разобравшись в механике, начинаешь получать огромное удовольствие от грациозных и смертоносных комбинаций. Визуальный стиль тоже радует глаз – яркий, стильный и отлично передает атмосферу страсти и драмы. Отдельно хочется отметить музыку. Композиции идеально подобраны и создают неповторимую атмосферу каждого момента. Бывают небольшие шероховатости в графике, но они некритичны и совершенно не портят впечатления от игры. В целом, "The Legend of Tango" – это отличный пример того, как можно смешать, казалось бы, несовместимые вещи и создать нечто уникальное и запоминающееся. Рекомендую всем любителям необычных и увлекательных приключений.

To be honest, the gameplay was fine. A bit easy, but fine. but SHUT UP ABOUT TANGO FREAKING FIESTA.
