About Tower of Spirit
Tower of Spirit is a small and fast turn-based RPG with rogue-like elements where you explore mysterious lands, meet and recruit new characters, face many dangers and try to reach the mysterious tower!
As you progress in a run, you will face a series of random encounters. There are different types of encounters: combat, discovery, and bonfire. Each offers unique challenges and rewards. When you reach a bonfire, you will have the opportunity to add a new character to your party and increase your chances to go further on the road.
Unlock and recruit new characters, each with their own unique combat style and capacities to master. Gather the others along the way and try new synergies as your team grow! Every attempt is unique as you face new encounters, enemies, and discoveries. No run will ever exactly be the same!
Those relics grant a variety of bonuses and abilities. More than 30 unique emblems can be found! The more emblems you collect, the more their effects combine, the more powerful some of those combinations might be but keep in mind you cannot equip them all! Choose wisely and adapt your strategy accordingly.
Tower of Spirit is full of cute-looking, weird characters and monsters! Everything is hand-drawn and animated by hand in an old fashion 2D style.

+ Cool art, design and music + Like the idea of the shared hp and mp pool + Like the idea of the extra attack when defense is broken and that u can switch it to other party members + Like the emblem system + Like the different characters - Had a bug where the game froze when i entered the shop - The endboss freezes when i use wrap from pandy to interupt his channeling attack +/- not sure if this is intended and i simply did not read the tutorial correctly but i am not able to switch between party members when i have more than 3 - once i have 4 i cant open the party menu anymore2 found this helpful

Nice little roguelite with a lot of possibilities and tense turn based combats!
Small game which is just really simple to play. You can technically finish the game in your first run which is quite nice change. Is challenging and fun, your next run is not based on anything that happened in the previous run.
Game not playable on SteamDeck. You get to boss and cannot do anything... but exit game. :steamsad:
it is a good game, the combat system is good, the music is good and the sound effects are goofy but funny. It's a well rounded game, but it is very buggy. sometimes it works flawlessly, other times the game stops working past the fury boss and i have to restart. Just keep improving and don't give up on this because it can be really great.
