About Two Against the Legion
Two against the Legion is a short local couch co-op adventure puzzle game for two players, in which you have to defeat rebellious robots and prevent a technological disaster. The players have completely different game experiences.- Player 1 controls his character using a keyboard or a gamepad and sees the game in a third-person view.
- Player 2 controls his character with a mouse and sees the game from a top-down perspective.
Find out how well you and your friend understand each other: all the challenges you will face in the game can only be solved by acting together.Join forces, look at everything from different angles and use the characters' unique skills to solve puzzles and fight back against dangerous robots.
The main emergency control center has received a report that a serious man-made disaster may be occurring at a nuclear power plant. Playing as agent Annie and her robot Jackie, go on a mission to find out what happened and prevent a terrible accident.

EDIT: YOU NO LONGER HAVE TO PLAY IT ALONE. There were scenarios where one character was in combat while the other was solving puzzles. I still think the game's more charming cooperatively, but if that's not your jam, you're in luck, and you're still my friend. The time in my review reflects the amount of time I spent playing it with my wife, plus seven minutes screwing around on my own. So yeah, it's a short game! Frankly, probably half that time was trying to work out one specific puzzle; we might have been able to beat the game in a half hour if we were really on the ball. You will play with a pal. One of you will (awkwardly!) control a human with a keyboard only, and the other will point-and-click with a mouse. On occasion, the human player will have to defend the robot, and since it's both hands on keyboard to fight, plus the mouse, you're not going to do it solo. Most of your time will be spent solving puzzles. If you dawdle long enough, you can ask the game for hints, which we didn't do. They're not necessarily the most challenging puzzles, but I will say they were more inventive than usual. Short, but has some good ideas. You *can* play it alone, but I don't really recommend doing so. I would appreciate an expansion on the concept with some more polish. I would say that this does scratch the asymmetrical puzzle coop game itch, but it really needs more puzzles. I don't regret buying the game, but I can only recommend it to enthusiasts of the genre or casual players willing to spend about $4 for half an hour of fun with a friend or spouse.1 found this helpful
