✦ AI summary

Endorlight is a budget platformer that offers simple, straightforward gameplay with procedurally generated levels, though it lacks the depth and replayability that would make it truly compelling. Players appreciate its low price and basic charm, but criticize the shallow progression system, limited level variety, and lack of meaningful incentives to keep playing beyond reaching the exit. Most agree it's worth picking up at its low cost, though it won't inspire lasting engagement or competitive interest.

Endorlight presents itself as a platformer with ambition, aiming to fuse tight movement, procedural variety, and a sense of discovery. Yet, when held up against the evergreen benchmark of excellence that is Spelunky, Endorlight falls somewhat short. You collect money as you go down to the exit, but the system provides no meaningful, persistent payoff beyond a leaderboard ranking no one cares about. The generated levels lack enough variety and can leave you with no reason to explore - all that matters is getting to the end of the level. For a buck, it isn't like you will feel ripped off, but you're not going to be out there getting your friends to grab a copy so you can compete on runs. It is a simple game, and not bad, but it is shallow and lacks an element to really motivate additional play.
