You're either really going to like this game or you're...not. I am definitely of the latter. As much as I've tried playing this solo, playing this while streaming with others and a wide variety of circuits in the attempt to like this game that otherwise seems revered by others, I just can't bring myself to fully like it. On paper, it has a lot going for it. The music and the art are sublime and the combat system is responsive. There's a lot to upgrade, similar to sphere grid designs of FFX, and a seemingly large amount of customization was put into this for ways you could go...except that's not really true when you're expected to eventually get pretty much all of it for later on. Why? Because if you don't, you'd be dealing with endless damage sponges. But before anything else, we should talk about one thing: Puzzles. If you've looked at any of the negative reviews and a handful of the positives, they will all come back to that same problem - design choices. And they come back again and again and again and again...It's what pulled my want to constantly attempt at this. Sure, we're in 2026 - you're going to find all the solutions on the Internet and YouTube, but that's no …

Simply one of the best action RPG games of all time!

My god, I love this game! TL;DR: CrossCode is the full package: amazing stories, NG+, beautiful graphics, references and easter eggs, great combat and variety to your character, a good deal of exploration and clever thinking, easy to navigate menus, database within the game, accessibility options, a bit of grinding, challenge, and an amazing, well-connected soundtrack. Best played with a controller! Its price is reasonable and gets good promos (BRL). Review: It is an amazing game! It is single player but it feels very lively and connected to the story and how it is set up, and you have a few different NPCs to party up. I find the story very original and amazing! Really compelling! I felt sad when I realized I was getting close to completing the game, because omg, did I say the story is amazing? Combat is cool, fast paced and you have a bunch of skills and equipment bonuses that you can use to strengthen your chosen playstyle or mix a bunch of stuff. Enemies are mostly passive and don't engage unless you engage first, so you can get an initial advantage on them or focus on exploration/parkour and getting to new areas. You may choose to stay in permanent combat by quickly enteri…

This Game ROCKS!!!!! , this was so much fun, going through and trying to complete the game , definately buying the DLC and the Ninja Skin (at this point i am a Ninja). A funny thing had occurred when i started playing this game. It turned out i was already listening to the Main Menu music for several years , before i knew anything about this game ( I know , sounds weird , i probably didnt pay much attention when i added it) and the amount of joy i felt when i opened the game , just to be met with that main menu music , ooooooo that was the stuff. Im also definatelely going to buy Alabaster Dawn after the DLC to play it. Lea has become one of my Favourite Charcters of all time! Radical Fish Games, you have done a fantastic job in making this game, all of it was very good. Please , to the team member reading this , could you say thanks to them in person on my behalf? this game was definately a 12/10 for me.

One of the best games I've ever played, If you like rpg games and gearing up your character, interesting side quests, tough bosses and witty dialogue and charming characters this game is for you. Don't look anything up, go in blind if you can, and just enjoy the ride. Lea!

Okay, let me add fly in the ointment. I was kinda late to the party, and overall love this game. It's well-crafted, amount of effort put into it is insane, it easily comes close to the best games in the industry, to say the least. However, to me it also falls flat in many senses; might be that I simply assess this game with a high bar, since I spent a while reading commends before trying it. My main concern is about the plot. Probably I'm spoiled by Sci-fi and Japanese visual novels, but every plot twist was given in a way, that I anticipated a second bottom - and got disappointed by it eventually not being there.
When in the beginning Sergey wonders about Lea somehow having a higher level than expected - the previous "boss" fight being to blame was kinda guessable, and I expected some other mystery to reveal - but no. Now, that cross-zone quest with a guy wearing outfit from five different classes - I expected to eventually see a hacker who broke the game, and we would have to investigate it, then there would another plot twist... but how it eventually unfolded was unintriguing in comparison. END GAME SPOILER
When we learn that Tronny might be Sidwell -…
