✦ AI summary

Singularity™ is an underrated first-person shooter from 2010 that combines horror, science fiction, and time manipulation mechanics with strong atmospheric design and an engaging story set in an abandoned Soviet facility. Players praise the compelling narrative, environmental storytelling, and fast-paced gunplay, though some note the game has a slow start and may have compatibility issues on newer systems. Most players feel it's worth picking up on sale.

Singularity is one of those games that deserved far more attention than it received. Released in 2010, Raven Software created an incredibly entertaining first-person shooter that combines fast-paced gunplay, horror, science fiction, and time manipulation into an experience that still stands out years later. The Time Manipulation Device is what really separates Singularity from other shooters. Being able to rapidly age objects, restore damaged equipment, manipulate the environment, and use time itself against enemies makes combat and exploration much more interesting than simply moving from one firefight to another. The game continually finds entertaining ways to incorporate these abilities into puzzles and c…

I put 7 hours into this game, beat it, went back and did the other endings, and overall I'd say I had a pretty good time. Def worth it if on sale.
