✦ AI summary

Genesis Noir is a beautifully artistic, story-driven experience that combines noir aesthetics with cosmic themes, backed by exceptional presentation through minimalist visuals and jazz-influenced music. Players consistently praise its emotional impact, creative narrative, and artistic ambition, though some note occasional pacing or narrative consistency issues and occasional uncertainty about what to do next.

Well. That was an unexpected journey. I didn't read any comments or reviews before and the game took my by surprise. Programming games is an art. This game is even more. Sometimes i wasn't sure what to do next. Where the game was going next. But i did not look up a solution. It worked out. I didn't think this game would cause so much different emotions in me. It did. Thank you for this experience. For every minute.

Short, beautiful, touching. It's not a conventional game, but the interaction does make it more impactful. Clearly a work of passion, it oozes character and charm and brings its myths alive through a cheeky cosmic-noir lense that still lets the emotional core shine through. I loved it in short bursts over the course of a few weeks, just a nice little dose of cosmic quirk after work or between playing other games. Can't wait for the sequel.

Fun story driven game with light puzzles.

this game was an unforgettable experience and i seriously regret holding off playing this game for like two years :/ . the presentation is amazing: a very simplistic style in a noir aesthetic, while most often calm jazz plays in the background. the story is also incredibly captivating, and the way it so smoothly combines a detective story with the creation of the universe is mind blowing to me. the only negative remark i have is that from a certain moment the story does not fit well with what had been happening previously, but i still really enjoyed it nonetheless.
