FAIRY TAIL

The first impression I had is that it was a very simple and braindead JRPG, aimed at teenagers. I'm glad I kept playing. Damn, even the epilogue is epic, with loads of post game content! To be honest, I expected a Musou game, but finding a JRPG was a nice surprise. I didn't read the manga or watched the anime previously, so I didn't know anything about the story. Man, what a ride, I had a very good time playing through it. The game has a lot of banter between characters, fanservice, and swimsuits, which makes ridiculous and a bad faith move that KOEI censored pantsu's in an after release patch. What the Hell are you doing KOEI? Do better! If you keep walking this path you are going to Ubisoft yourselves. The game is awesome.

price tag for the outdated game and outdated season pass and outdated DLCs is not worth it, glitched and redundant, waste of money

The game was made with a low budget in mind and it CLEARLY has a lot of love put into it! I enjoyed it greatly, the game does have things that are not completed like certain characters not having models. The author has had no involvement in the creation of the game yet GUST managed to get the feel of Fairy Tail down perfectly. If Gust didn't have strong passion behind the project it would not have been so accurate or have as much thought put into how each character plays. I have played over 800 games in my lifetime and the vast majority of them are RPG's and this game carved out an identity for what a Fairy Tail game should play like akin to the way old Budokai Tenkaichi games did for DBZ. I hope GUST continues to make more games around titles made by Hiro Mashima.

Bought on sale, very much enjoyed it was 80% side quest story isnt massively long dont know why it skipped so much story at the start , but overall great game
