Creeper World 2: Anniversary Edition

I expected to dislike this game once i realised it had a different camera perspective to the first, but i actually ended up enjoying it more. I feel like it better captures the feeling of struggling against a relentless force, whereas the first game essentially turns into turtling until you have enough resource output to overcome the enemies growth. Some of the later levels introduced time constraints which were frustrating at first, but very satisfying to conquer.

Big improvement over the first one, fresh take even if 2d on a different axis. Enjoyed it and some of the rushing missions were a bit entertaining, if challenging on one.

Great sequel. Game's fun even in vertical mode instead of horizontal. I like how you can fight back against the Creeper and destroy the nexi, but the way the story ended is a bit disappointing to me.

Iconic CW experience. If you like your top-down RTS experience looking like it hopped out of Windows 98, this is your game. Fantastic soundtrack. Play it. Play all the Creeper World games.
